What Goes Around Comes Around

Before I start, I want to make it very clear that I do not believe in karma. I believe in the blessings and judgments of God that happen to look and appear like karma. That being said, I am having an awesome week! I feel like being kind to others is opening up the ability for people to be kind to me. People are always kind to me, but for some reason people have been extra kind. I have gotten so many compliments lately. I think It's more of the fact that I am giving people a reason to be proud me. I am happy with my own decisions, and people are happy for me.

Being nice to people is so much fun. Not that I am not ALWAYS nice ;) but going out of the way to speak words of life over people is rewarding. It makes people better to be around, which makes me better to be around!

The only person that takes any flack for my experimental compliments is Isaiah Gaines. I try to compliment him everyday, but sometimes my compliments don't sound sincere. "You have big eyebrows", I says. Immediately he asks me if I don't like them... #complifail! I'm trying to expand my horizons and stop using the same generic compliments. Thank you Ms. Gaines for being so open to accepting new crazy compliments :D I will improve over time!

Updates: Jonah had his EEG this past Wednesday. Keeping him running smoothly on 5 hours of sleep was difficult :( He cried a lot leading up to it, but he was extremely well behaved for the test itself. We should know more on Monday.

Jonah had a birthday party this past week! I thought it would be really hard to celebrate his birthday with his other side of the family meeting Isaiah, but it proved surprisingly easy. everybody was there to celebrate Jonah, and he had a great time playing outside with all of his extended family! :) He got lots of cool gifts and nice clothes. His favorite gift was/is a Mickey Mouse bike. It is a blessing and a curse (metaphorically speaking) He wants to bring it EVERYWHERE, and that is no exaggeration. I have repeatedly told him the bikes cannot go into church, on slip n slides, up the stairs, or into streets. When he can't bring his bike, he wears his helmet. I hold the official appearance of a crazy overprotective mom that makes her son wear and fasten a helmet in public... :P If only they knew!

Financially, I am stable-ish. I found out this week that I have money on a child support card that I never knew about. This makes me very happy because it provides a cushion for me to buy Jonah things when he really needs them. Also (concerning money), Jonah's other side of the family is going to open up a money account for him to go to college or start a business. This is definitely a blessing, and I know he will be thankful for it when the time comes!

In conclusion, God is ALWAYS good <3
tell me something I don't know!
